The Department of Economics and Business of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra offers The Graduate Program in Economics, Finance and Management (GPEFM). The Program seeks candidates of the highest calibre - students with outstanding academic background and the intellectual curiosity and discipline needed to succeed in a very demanding environment. English is the official language of the Program.

Currently the Graduate Program of the UPF Department of Economics and Business offers the following degrees:

The Master of Science (MSc) is a one-year program. Those students awarded the MSc degree will have acquired an excellent grounding in their field and sufficient analytical skills to enter the PhD programme or to go into a technically demanding job. The MSc Degrees in Economics and in Finance are offered jointly with the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, and the MSc in Management with the IDEC.

For further information about these programs:

The Barcelona GSE also offers a range of other masters degrees in the field of economics at the campuses of its founding institutions (UPF and UAB). The Master programs held at UPF are:

The Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) is a two-year program. It has the first year in common with the MSc programme and a second year for field specialisation.

The PhD program is geared to develop students' research skills and independence of thought. Our PhD program is a partner in the European Doctoral Program (EDP) in Quantitative Economics, a joint initiative of the Department of Economics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, the London School of Economics, the European University Institute (Florence), the Université Catholique de Louvain, the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciencies Sociales (Paris) and the Universität Bonn.
