The Santi Careta Group is a newly formed Catalan jazz group that performs its own music in jazz, funk and latin styles. The group obtained an honourable mention at the 1999 Vic Jazz festival and their saxophonist, Noè Escolà, received the award for best soloist. The group consists of Santi Serratosa (drums), Jordi Franco (bass), Noè Escolà (alto and tenor saxophone) and Santi Careta (electric guitar).
